01 — Project details

I was brought on as a freelancer through Tripwire Media group to write a script for Compost Winnipeg's residential composting explainer video. The aim was to explain composting to people who have probably never done it before, address any concerns they may have, and get them to use the composting service offered in their building. The challenge was to avoid letting the script get too long while also keeping the visuals simple.

02 — Creative process

I received a creative brief with the key messages that needed to be included and brainstormed some starter visuals with an animator that would eventually help inform each frame of the animation. I worked with the client to create a finished script with a friendly and welcoming tone that hits every key message.
